My customer urgently requires a number of Switch Engineers for a long term contract in Mobile, AL. Main responsibilities include conducting expert wireless network equipment for installation and maintenance. Test, locate and repair complex equipment problems. Handle configuration and fault management for a range of platforms including voice mail, BSC (Base Station Controller), HLR (Home Location Register), VLR (Visitor Location Register), SMSC (Short Message Service Center) and IWF (Inter Working Function). Perform database backups and conduct maintenance of computer hardware and software.
